Security Compliance System Upgrade Specialist

As a Security Compliance System Upgrade Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the UN Women office locations comply with area-specific Security Risk Management Measures and system-wide policy requirements. This involves updating the Security and Safety Compliance Survey to address changes in the IT platform, simplify processes, and automate various tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the vendor to ensure project requirements are met, facilitate meetings with stakeholders, and coordinate with the UN Women IST Team.
- Perform comprehensive testing of the new platform to confirm it meets all needs and specifications, including functionality, usability, and performance testing.
- Assist Security Specialists on missions to evaluate office compliance through the new SSCS and Security Monitoring Hub, providing on-site support during evaluations and documenting findings with recommendations.
- Develop and deliver training sessions remotely, on-site, and online to ensure personnel understand their responsibilities for office compliance and can use the new system with confidence.
- Offer ongoing support and assistance to offices transitioning to the new system, addressing questions or issues that arise to ensure a smooth transition process.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in security, Business Administration, Risk Management, Political Science, or a similar field; or a first-level degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of combined work experience in areas of compliance systems and processes, communication and/or administration.
- Experience in the United Nations Security Management System and review/design of online compliance systems.
This consultancy will require mission travel to UN Women offices. The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
