About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and releasing embedded SW applications for hearing instruments. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate SW features into hearing instruments, debugging and resolving issues related to application SW, implementing and maintaining unit tests and other automated regression tests, and sharing knowledge with colleagues and participating in team ceremonies.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, document, test, and release embedded SW applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SW features into hearing instruments
  • Debug and resolve issues related to application SW
  • Implement and maintain unit tests and other automated regression tests
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and participate in team ceremonies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in embedded software development in C
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Ability to program for memory-, power-, time-constrained systems
  • Unit and system testing skills
  • Version control system expertise
  • Knowledge of Linux and scripting
