We are embarking on a highly strategic project at the intersection of data science, advertising technology, and audience insights, with a focus on privacy-friendly predictive modeling for audience segmentation and targeting. The system we are building will support 1/3rd of the world's ad campaigns, so the scope is huge, and the success of our team depends on our ability in the near term to demonstrate to key stakeholders the superiority of our system, and then follow up on that promise in the mid-long term.
About YouThe ideal candidate will be a creative data engineer with a passion for data and cloud-first compute systems. They will have a strong academic background (Master's in Computer Science or related field) and consider themselves a problem solver. The successful candidate will be hands-on but also comfortable with driving a project and will have proven experience working with both web-based data extraction and ETL pipelines (preferably Apache Spark).
- You will design cloud architecture to run pipelines efficiently.
- You will focus on delivering high-quality data.
- You will be part of a team of data engineers and work closely with our knowledge graph architects.
