Your Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop existing cloud infrastructure to ensure availability and scalability.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot cloud-related infrastructure incidents and issues efficiently.
  • Support automation projects, writing infrastructure as code (IaC) for provisioning and scaling resources (typescript).
  • Propose and implement improvements to cloud operations processes.
  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
  • Be on an on-call rotation to respond to incidents that impact availability.

Requirements

  • You're an analytical individual capable of understanding entire systems, how all the parts fit together, how the data flows through, and where it can and will go wrong.
  • You're excited by delivering high-quality software.
  • You're a master of Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS preferred), Docker, and monitoring solutions.
  • You have worked in a similar environment when you were responsible for designing/architecting tooling and automation and love the challenge of a fast-paced team.
  • You are creative and curious and like to solve hard problems. You are open-minded and a good listener when it comes to other peoples' ideas and voice your own ideas with confidence.
  • You are supportive and encouraging by nature, strive to be the best version of yourself, and lift those around you up.
