At DIS/CREADIS, we are expanding our activities within Life Science and seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join our team in greater Copenhagen and Denmark.

We offer highly specialized engineering consultancy services, helping clients design, build and improve complex systems, products and projects. With experience in Life Science, we provide expertise in meeting the challenges that our clients face.

As a Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as the Safety Lead on projects, from development projects to machinery implementation in an existing production line. You will work alongside the project team, contributing to the culture and structure around machine safety and secure machine design, ensuring best practices are followed and compliance is upheld within machinery and ATEX safety.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Safety of machinery and process equipment
  • Commissioning of Machinery and Process Equipment
  • Safety legislation and regulatory aspects
  • Safety and risk management
  • Risk assessment and hazardous areas with flammable liquids and dust assessments
  • Hazardous area classification (ATEX) and explosion barriers and documentation
  • Safety solutions in complex installations with explosive atmospheres

To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant technical educational background such as Marine Engineer, Engineer, Electrician or equivalent. Additionally, you should have 2+ years of experience in a similar role and solid experience in machinery safety, the machinery and ATEX directives and harmonized standards.
