About the Role
">As a Postdoctoral Researcher in Radiopharmaceutical Development, you will be part of our innovative team at the Research Unit of Nuclear Medicine, Department of Clinical Research, University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
">We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Novo Nordisk Foundation-funded Synergy project, Image and Destroy: New Radionuclides for Cancer Theranostics.
">This two-year position offers a unique opportunity to work on novel technologies in collaboration with SDU's Department of Physics, Chemistry, and Pharmacy (Prof. Christine McKenzie) and Dublin City University, Ireland (Prof. Andrew Kellett).
">Key Responsibilities">- Production of Novel Radiometals: Develop advanced methods for producing novel radiometals using solid target-based techniques.
- Radiochemical Development: Design and develop innovative radiopharmaceuticals for brain cancer treatment.
You Will Work With: Leading scientists at SDU and Odense University Hospital (OUH), as well as national and international partners.

Requirements:

- A PhD in chemistry, pharmacy, or a related field.
- Strong experience in chemical synthesis.
- Preferably, a background in radiochemistry.
- Experience in radionuclide production and purification is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
$83,000 - $118,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The salary range includes an estimated annual increase of 4%.
