Astrophysicist Wanted for Stellar Streams Project

We are seeking a research scientist to join our team at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will work on extragalactic stellar streams in Sarah Pearson's group.
The project focuses on decoding dark matter with stellar streams from beyond the Milky Way. Candidates with expertise in computational astrophysics, galactic dynamics, and/or dark matter physics are encouraged to apply.
The position involves co-mentoring students and teaching if relevant. The ideal candidate will have experience with N-body codes and alternative dark matter models.
The Extragalactic Streams group works at the intersection of theory and observations, developing stream-finding algorithms and tools for extragalactic streams.
The position is open from September 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
