Job Description

Vestas is a leading global wind turbine producer, and we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our project execution team.

As an Operations Manager at Vestas, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from contract signing to final testing. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high safety and quality standards.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of Site Managers to deliver projects across various regions, including Europe, North America, and Asia.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall project performance.
  • Collaborate closely with logistics, procurement, and finance departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain high levels of safety and quality, adhering to Vestas' stringent standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

About You:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years' experience in leading leaders or project managers, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, with a solid understanding of management principles and proven people leadership experience.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • You are fluent in English and proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.

Requirements:

  • A valid passport and drivers' license.
