Decarbonisation Logistics Manager

Maersk, a global leader in integrated logistics, seeks a motivated and skilled Decarbonisation Logistics Manager to join their Energy Transition Execution, Innovation & Partnerships organisation.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful scoping and delivery of customer engagements that decarbonize logistics for Maersk customers. As part of delivering customer engagements, the Decarbonisation Logistics Manager will analyse customer supply chains, identify opportunities, and create innovative solutions to decarbonize logistics.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future. The Decarbonisation Logistics Manager will have a direct impact in driving positive change in the industry while delivering the success of Maersk's Integrator Strategy.
About the RoleThe Decarbonisation Logistics Manager will be responsible for:
- Collecting and evaluating supply chains, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in terms of decarbonisation;
- Identifying customer-specific opportunities to reduce carbon impact through network optimisation, modal shifts, and energy transition;
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit assessments to assess the viability and impact of potential decarbonisation projects;
- Designing and managing the tools and templates necessary for project delivery;
In addition, the Decarbonisation Logistics Manager will develop comprehensive project goals, plans, and governance for each customer partnership project in consultation with relevant stakeholders. They will ensure project timelines and quality of deliverables are adhered to throughout the project and communicate progress to stakeholders.
The Decarbonisation Logistics Manager will also build strong relationships within Energy Transition, Commercial Sustainability, Area Product managers, customer account teams, and other internal stakeholders to gain support and alignment. They will collaborate with customers and other external partners to achieve timely and high-quality outcomes.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with proven experience in project management and strong knowledge and understanding of logistics and supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on results.
The Decarbonisation Logistics Manager should have excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders at all levels, and effectively convey complex information.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics) is required, along with proficiency in tools and software for project management, analysis (e.g., Microsoft Excel), data visualisation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI), and network optimisation software.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
