Electrical Engineer Opportunity in Energy Transition
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Division, where you will contribute to the delivery of innovative engineering design projects and help drive the energy transition industry forward.
About the RoleThis is an outstanding opportunity to work with a high-performing team of over 50 specialists, focusing on offshore wind, power-t-X, carbon capture, and energy transition projects. You will be involved in multidiscipline energy projects, designing electrical systems, and performing electrical studies on MV and LV levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participating in energy projects across all execution phases, from early development to construction phase.
- Designing electrical systems and performing electrical studies on MV and LV level in Power Factory.
- Developing, optimizing, and standardizing technical solutions within MV and LV systems.
- Performing engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear, cables, and UPS and battery systems.
- Providing input for procurement and handling technical clarifications before and during the execution phase.
- Contributing to FAT, SAT, and commissioning processes.
To succeed in this role, you should have a background in Marine Engineering, B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. Electrical Engineering, or similar. Relevant experience in electrical design within onshore/offshore substations, electrification, power plants, oil and gas, Power-t-X, or similar industries is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of MV and LV design and equipment.
- Solid understanding of electrical studies and calculations.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English.
