HV Technician

About the Role

RWE Renewables Denmark A/S is seeking a skilled HV Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of high-voltage systems on our offshore wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of HV systems on offshore wind turbines
• Support the Commissioning Team during the construction phase
• Plan and perform switching operations on HV equipment
• Control room duties and alarm handling
• Service and troubleshooting on HV assets
• Documentation of work using electronic reporting
• Preparation of error reports and work instructions
• Review and processing of operationally relevant documentation
• Compliance with occupational health and safety requirements
• Preparation of RAMS for repairs and control of RAMS by external service providers

Requirements

• Vocational training as an electrician or automation technician
• 3-5 years of professional experience as a technician in operating, servicing, and maintaining high-voltage equipment
• Experience in protection systems, SCADA, and communication, automation technology, and network operations
• Experience in working offshore
• Good IT skills and English language skills
• Experience in planning HV services and knowledge of relevant country-specific legislation
• Ability to work offshore with GWO and HUET certificates
• Strong awareness of occupational safety and a proactive team player with a positive and solution-oriented mindset
