About the Job

As a Sustainability Controller at NKT A/S, you will play a key role in supporting the business with sustainability reporting.

You will assume an active role to coordinate the Sustainability department's efforts to gather, access and report sustainability data according to international standards and legislations.

Your task goes beyond reporting and compliance; it is also to ensure that NKT stakeholders continuously have access to credible sustainability data and to assist in the development of the company.

The position is located in Karlskrona, and you will report to the Sustainability Manager for High Voltage Cable Solutions Karlskrona.

You will work closely with an agile team of environmental and sustainability specialists including controllers from our Group Financial Compliance team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Management: Develop the data collection process and management of sustainability data including coordination, gathering, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting of data from internal and external stakeholders from both our permanent offices and temporary sites associated with our projects.
  • Reporting Regulations: Work closely with colleagues in other functions to secure timely alignment with changing reporting regulations, including the EU Taxonomy Directive and CSRD.
  • Sustainability Improvement: Support the overall business line in identifying and implementing improvement tasks within sustainability reporting.
  • Data Providers and Controls: Develop communication with internal and external data providers and develop an internal controls set-up and quality assurance for the reported data.
  • Sustainability Reporting Quality: Oversee and continuously improve our internal sustainability reporting quality. This task includes training our data contributors on the reporting requirements.
