IFRS Specialist

About the Role

As an IFRS Specialist at Ørsted, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. You will work closely with various stakeholders to provide expert advice on complex accounting matters and support the development of high-quality financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IFRS and accounting guidance to financial controllers, FP&A, and valuation teams on M&A transactions and other complex transactions
• Collaborate with group auditors to ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Prepare IFRS accounting memos and reports, and participate in the preparation of group interim financial reports, annual reports, and accounting manuals
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Requirements

• Master's degree in accounting and auditing, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as an accountant or financial controller in an international group
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of IFRS, with experience in a specialist department
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
