AI-Driven Decision Support Specialist for Wind Energy Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research team at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) on a 3-year position as part of the IntelliWind project.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on developing advanced decision support systems for wind energy applications, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques.
About the ProjectThe IntelliWind project aims to design and develop trustworthy decision-making processes for autonomous wind power plant operations. The project involves collaboration with industry partners and academic institutions within the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions program.
This PhD position is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to cutting-edge research in wind energy and AI-driven decision support systems.
Your Key Responsibilities- Design and develop anomaly detection and alarm prediction models using data science and machine learning techniques.
- Develop a risk ranking system for detected anomalies based on their likelihood of triggering downtime or corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the research team to integrate the developed models into a comprehensive decision support system for wind energy applications.
