Tactical Purchaser

We are seeking an experienced Tactical Purchaser to join our team at Brinch & Partners. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a range of procurement categories, including Consumables, and developing close relationships with suppliers to ensure effective collaboration.

As a Tactical Purchaser, your primary focus will be on managing supplier relationships, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to optimize inventory levels and forecast accuracy. You will also lead supplier collaboration meetings to foster strategic partnerships and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to establish structured and good relationships with suppliers and internal partners. Your experience working with supplier follow-ups, defining KPIs, procurement processes, and reducing inventory in close collaboration with suppliers is essential.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with agreed KPIs.
  2. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize inventory levels and forecast accuracy.
  3. Develop and lead supplier collaboration meetings to foster strategic partnerships and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Analyze dashboards and data sources to assess suppliers' ability to deliver high-quality products on time and in full.
  5. Participate in implementing the Annual Wheel and working with performance review meetings, forecast updates, master data review, segmentation, and safety stock updates.

Requirements

We require a master's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics combined with 2-3 years of experience. Alternatively, candidates with a background in procurement and several years of experience may also be considered.
