Job Description

">

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Embedded Linux Developer to join our camera firmware team. This role involves designing and developing high-quality firmware for our embedded systems, ensuring seamless integration with our AI and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Design and develop firmware for embedded Linux systems using Yocto configuration, device trees, inter-process communication, state management, self-diagnostics, automated testing, and bootloaders.">
  • Develop low-level drivers and firmware for various MCU architectures and real-time operating systems, interfacing them with external peripherals, battery management systems, firmware updates, and device trees.">
  • Implement wireless communication protocols such as BLE and WiFi, including building BLE devices, implementing and optimizing GATT services, device discovery, and connection handling.">
  • Integrate embedded systems with cloud services using REST APIs, particularly utilizing AWS services and diagnosing and deploying remote monitoring, logging, and OTA update solutions like Memfault or Mender.">
  • Buuild and optimize Linux-based media pipelines using GStreamer.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • At least 3-5 years of industry experience working on connected embedded products.">
  • Expert knowledge in solving day-to-day problems in embedded systems, venturing into new territory in terms of new SoCs, video pipelines, communication protocols, and application architecture.">
  • Seniority in the field, confidence in skills, and capacity to independently investigate and resolve issues while knowing when to seek collaboration or support.">
  • Ability to coordinate larger initiatives on the firmware stack, involving stakeholders from relevant cloud and AI teams, and define firmware and application architectures.">
