About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Privacy and Compliance Specialist to join our Finance and Legal team. As a key member of our global data privacy program, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our privacy program.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring compliance with group policies and controls, as well as providing expert advice to stakeholders and fostering a culture of data protection awareness across the business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing, refining, and monitoring current processes to enhance data protection measures across the organization.
  • Driving data protection and information security processes and facilitating internal audits to ensure compliance with group policies and controls.
  • Preparing and executing the annual GDPR plan, including policy reviews, controls implementation, maintaining records of processing activities, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining process mapping.
  • Providing ongoing guidance and support to the business on data protection, IT projects, e-privacy, e-commerce, and marketing law.
  • Reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, including data processing agreements.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled Privacy and Compliance Specialist with a strong understanding of technology and excellent analytical skills. You should have experience working with data protection, existing and emerging technology, digitalization, and consumer protection.

Key qualifications include:

  • A law school/university degree in law or business law (LL.M or a corresponding degree).
  • +3 years of post-graduate experience from in-house or private practice within data protection and relevant legal fields.
  • Proven experience working with commercial law and contract drafting.
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) or Certified Information Privacy Management (CIPM) certification is a plus.
