About the Role

We are seeking a Project Engineer at Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit.

This role can be located anywhere in Denmark (remote working) and may also involve occasional travel to other locations within Europe.

The preferred location is in the Hitachi Energy office in Middelfart or Copenhagen.

As a Project Engineer, you will contribute to designing and delivering complete substations for distribution and transmission grids.

You will collaborate closely with customers and other Hitachi Energy teams to deliver solutions to various segments, including renewables, battery energy storage, data centers, industry, utilities, and the green hydrogen sector.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Develop substation documents, including switchyard layout, cable routing, earthing, and installation drawings.
  2. Ensure high-voltage systems are designed and executed according to specifications and regulations.
  3. Participate in installation supervision or provide support to site teams from the office.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and successful outcomes in an international project environment.
