Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Parasite Immunology

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will work on exploring how the gut environment shapes type-2 immunity, with a focus on parasite infection and immunological responses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on parasite immunology and gut health, including experimental animal models and immunological analyses.
  • Develop and implement research projects, including designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and publishing research findings.
  • Collaborate with the research group, including PhD and MSc students, to achieve research goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals, grant applications, and other funding opportunities.
Requirements:
  • PhD in parasitology, immunology, or a related field.
  • Experience with experimental animal models, immunological techniques, and data analysis.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and international research environment.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
