Required Qualifications and Skills

The successful applicant will have a PhD or equivalent research-based doctoral-level degree in molecular biology, biological anthropology, or related disciplines. They will also have a proven track record of original research in palaeoproteomics at the international level, supported by an outstanding publication record. Additionally, they will have experience in developing and applying palaeoproteomics to palaeontology, palaeoanthropology, and cultural heritage conservation.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. They will also be expected to take an active role in academic governance at departmental and/or faculty level.
