Tanker Broker

We are seeking an experienced Tanker Ship Sales and Purchase (S&P) Specialist to join our team at Imperium Commodity Search. As a key member of our growing tanker S&P desk, you will be responsible for establishing relationships with shipowners, counterparties, and trading houses in the tanker market.

1. Sales and Purchase Activities: Act as an intermediary between buyers and sellers of tanker vessels, providing expert advice on sales and purchase transactions.
2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the tanker market, leveraging your network and commercial acumen to drive growth.
3. Data Analysis: Analyze data related to vessel depreciation, financing, and viability to inform sales and purchase decisions.
4. Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry events, news, and pressures to ensure on-the-pulse knowledge and provide strategic insights to clients.
5. Financial Management: Collaborate with internal financing and credit teams, as well as external financiers and investors, to structure bespoke financial deals for tanker vessel sales and purchases.

• At least 3 years' experience in tanker markets, with a proven track record in sale and purchase ship brokerage.
• A robust network of shipowners, counterparties, and trading houses in the tanker space.
• Excellent commercial acumen and strong business development skills.
• Fluency in English (additional languages beneficial but not required).
• An existing portfolio of customers and contacts in the tanker market.
• The ability to live and work in Denmark.
