About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemist to join our team at DTU Food Institute's research group for Chemical Risk Assessment and GMO.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing data from national programs for monitoring pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and contaminants in Danish food and feed. This includes assessment of pesticide residues in food, including approvals of pesticides for use in Denmark, and writing EU monographs.

As part of this role, you will work closely with colleagues to receive and quality control data from laboratories, process and validate data according to EFSA requirements, and participate in reporting to EFSA as well as dissemination of results in national reports and scientific articles.

You will also have opportunities to participate in research projects within the area and contribute to efforts focusing on improving and developing data management and data flow, automating manual tasks, and creating reports/dashboards for making data accessible to both authorities and the public.
