">Your Opportunity
">We are seeking an experienced Chief Application Strategist to join our IT department. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the implementation, governance, and support of core applications, ensuring they meet the needs of our business users and drive continuous improvement.
">As a Chief Application Strategist, you will lead teams in analyzing, planning, organizing, and delivering applications that align with our business strategy. You will work closely with project sponsors, business and technical partners, subject matter experts, end users, and technical resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
">Your Key Responsibilities:

- Manage application portfolios and associated projects, identifying opportunities for optimization, redesign, or process improvement.">
- Provide application administrative support across applications as needed.">
- Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT management to create strategic visions for new and supported applications.">
- Address stakeholder needs, concerns, and expectations in planning and executing projects, meeting project requirements, and creating project deliverables.">
- Balance competing project constraints, including scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.">
- Build a strong technical culture around our business systems, emphasizing technical excellence, rapid iteration, security, and user experience.">
- Manage application maintenance outsourcing & software contract agreements, implementing standards around scope management, financial management, service level agreements (SLA), and ensuring compliance to mitigate risk and increase impact.">
Your Qualifications
">To succeed in this role, you will need:
">4+ years of experience in an Applications Manager or similar role.
">Deep hands-on experience with application implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
">Experience managing ticketing, CRM, ERP systems (Axapta) is an advantage.
">Proven functional experience with business units, including Employee Communications, Engineering, and IT.
">Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain system changes and functionality to all employees.
">Experience setting up ongoing procedures for collecting and reviewing project statuses and goals.
">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
">Salary
">The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.

">This role is based in Denmark.
