Digital Workplace Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Workplace Lead to join our Global IT team at the Danish Refugee Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform to empower our colleagues working in challenging and remote areas of the world.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement digital workplace solutions across 40+ countries and units in DRC's global operations.
- Act as a catalyst and guardian of digital tools, ensuring accessibility and usability in low-bandwidth and remote environments.
- Ensure integration of digital workplace technologies with existing systems and workflows, promoting a unified and efficient operational framework.
- Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback and continuously improve digital tools, ensuring they meet the real-world needs of our humanitarian missions.
- Implement robust security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, safeguarding sensitive information and communications.
- Develop and deliver training programs to empower staff at all levels of digital literacy to effectively utilize digital workplace tools and solutions.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, plan and follow-up on prioritized activity road map, and coordinate the workload across the architect role and two DWP development and support consultants.
To be successful in this role, you will have broad experience across the M365 portfolio, leveraging key IT methodologies, and demonstrating the ability to turn challenges into opportunities. You will be focused on delivering solid solutions applicable in the DRC context, enjoy working in a dynamic international environment with an informal atmosphere, and possess excellent communication skills and user training experience.
We are looking for someone with an academic degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience, hands-on experience with M365, suite and collaboration tools, technical understanding of the platform and of cloud environment, experience with stakeholder management and business understanding, and fluency in written and spoken English.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary and conditions in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC, a national position for which local Danish terms and conditions apply. You will be joining a global workforce of around 8000 employees, working in a dynamic international environment with an informal atmosphere.
