Our team of experts conducts cutting-edge research in genomics, microbiology, and behavioural science to develop innovative solutions for various topics.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced researcher with a strong background in generating and analysing shotgun metagenomic data. The ideal candidate will have experience in fieldwork and captivity experimentation with amphibians, reptiles, and mammals, as well as FELASA certifications for functions A, B, C, and D. Strong publication records in genome-resolved metagenomics and/or hologenomics are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in behavioural hologenomics
- Analyse shotgun metagenomic data using advanced computational techniques
- Develop and lead projects related to hologenomics
- Teach and supervise students at the pre- and postgraduate levels
Requirements
- PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or similar
- Experience in requesting sampling permits and writing ethical reports
- FELASA certifications for functions A, B, C, and D
- Strong publication record in genome-resolved metagenomics and/or hologenomics
