Electrical Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at ROCKWOOL Group. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for our intralogistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement electrical designs for our intralogistics solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical design with overall system functionality
  • Communicate with suppliers and follow up to secure compliance with specific design needs and our company electrical design guidelines & standards
  • Participate in budgeting and the development of tender material for suppliers
  • Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements, providing technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of proven experience in the electrical design and implementation of systems within the intralogistics or automation industry
  • Knowledgeable about the supplier landscape within intralogistics solutions for the industry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget

Travel Requirements:

You will often travel primarily in Europe but could also be around North America and Asia – mostly to meet with colleagues and suppliers and to supervise the implementation of your projects. You can expect to travel 60-80 days per year, with trips varying from just a couple of days to a few weeks at a time.
