About the Role

Agilent is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our Pathology Division, part of the Diagnostic and Genomics Group (DGG). As a key member of the Program and Project Management Office (PMO), you will drive programs and projects forward, ensuring the successful delivery of life-critical pathology products to market.

Main Responsibilities

  • Overall management of Pathology programs and/or projects, including development of new reagents, software, hardware products, registration, and regulatory or quality projects.
  • Lead geographically diverse, cross-functional project teams to deliver project objectives, including Marketing, Research and Development, Regulatory, Quality Assurance Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Services.
  • Ensure project plans are prepared, approved, executed, and kept up-to-date.
  • Report status and act on deviations to key stakeholders, including governance boards.
  • Manage project risks, including identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.
  • Interact with line managers and management to secure and align on resource requirements.
  • Manage relationships and inter-dependencies with other projects and related activities.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and act as an experienced resource for consultation on the development of other PMO-led projects.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree required, ideally in a Life Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or other relevant field.
  • Significant (7+ years) experience and proven success delivering projects and/or programs in an international environment, ideally in a fast-moving, highly regulated industry, medical device, or pharma.
  • Strong leadership skills combined with business acumen.
  • Excellent English verbal/written communications skills.
  • Problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Ability and flexibility to manage uncertainty, ambiguity, and changes in direction in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Certification in Project Management (Prince2, IPMA, PMP, etc.) is highly desired.
