The successful candidate will have a strong background in research and teaching in the area of integrating the timber value chain with novel structural logics. They will be expected to contribute to the development of research and teaching collaborations both internally and externally with industry, public institutions, and other institutions of higher education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading research and teaching activities in the focus area of the position.
  • Developing and implementing new research projects and initiatives.
  • Contributing to the development of interdisciplinary joint teaching and research collaborations with other institutes and staff.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a master's level degree and a PhD or equivalent qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, funding, and implementing externally funded research projects.
  • Documented experience in teaching at bachelor's and master's levels.
