About the RoleAs a Senior Tax Professional, you will be responsible for ensuring strong tax compliance and reporting on a Group-wide scale. You will work closely with our accounting teams to perform tax accounting, tax forecasting, and tax reporting related to our Danish and Group-wide financials.
You will also maintain and contribute to our tax governance and tax controlling frameworks, liaising with tax authorities, our auditors, and external tax advisors. Additionally, you will continuously develop and streamline our tax controlling and tax reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on fulfilling our Danish direct tax compliance requirements, ensuring we meet our filing requirements and stay compliant.
- Work closely with our accounting teams to perform tax accounting, tax forecasting, and tax reporting related to our Danish and Group-wide financials.
- Maintain and contribute to our tax governance and tax controlling frameworks, liaising with tax authorities, our auditors, and external tax advisors.
- Continuously develop and streamline our tax controlling and tax reporting processes.
- Proactively provide high-quality tax advice to and liaise with other departments, acting independently as the first point of contact for various tax matters.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in accounting, tax, finance, or equivalent, giving you a thorough understanding of taxation.
- Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience from a similar in-house position or from consulting (tax and/or audit).
- Solid knowledge and experience within Danish corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting, and preferably also international corporate taxation.
- Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken).
- A flair for the use of digital tools/systems and/or a desire to learn. Experience with SAP and/or other financial reporting systems is a plus.
