We are seeking a Student Quantitative Analyst to join our Intraday Power Trading desk in Aarhus. As a member of our team, you will work closely with experienced traders and analysts to develop tools and perform analyses that impact trading decisions.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and developing the tools that support manual trading decisions. You will work collaboratively with both analysts and traders, experiencing firsthand the importance of cross-team collaboration in our daily operations.

As a Student Quantitative Analyst, you will be an integral part of our team, and we will provide support and sparring to help you reach your full potential. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from data analysis to tool development, and will be encouraged to take ownership of your work.

We offer flexible working hours, allowing you to balance your studies with your work commitments. You will be expected to work approximately 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop trading tools
  • Data analysis to support quantitative decision-making
  • Assist the day-to-day operations within the analytics team
Qualifications:
  • Currently studying a bachelor's (on 5th semester or later) or a master's in computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, engineering, or similar
  • Experience with coding in R and/or Python
  • Strong abilities in mathematics and statistics
  • Preferably, experience from a relevant previous student job
  • Fluent in English – written and oral
