Operational Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Trainer to join our team in Vestas Service Offshore NCE. As a key member of our Service Organization, you will be responsible for training and coaching colleagues on how to operate new game-changing wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure seamless operation of V236-15MW Turbines.
• Gain hands-on experience by operating test turbines, participating in initial builds, and testing nacelles in our facilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to guide the successful operation of these turbines, utilizing your expertise as one of the first lead technicians/field trainers.
• Work in a shift pattern, including average 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 12 hours per day, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
• After an initial year in Denmark, travel to commercial projects in Germany, continuing to coach colleagues in operating wind turbines.
• Provide additional field training on weather days, helping coworkers develop technical competencies.

Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level in electrical or mechanical engineering from a technical school/college/university.
• Relevant professional experience, preferably as a Field Trainer, Lead Supervisor/Lead Technician, or similar in Vestas or related industries.
• Possess people management skills and be comfortable working in busy periods.
• Excellent English language skills, with good IT knowledge and familiarity with MS Office.
• Full and valid driving license required.
