In cooperation with Dansk Islandshesteforening (DI), we invite you to the FEIF Sport Judges and Education seminar, featuring interesting presentations, lectures, and practical activities.

Horse welfare in sport is increasingly scrutinized by society, demanding modern standards and objective assessments of horse behavior. Presentations and discussion topics will include conflict behavior in Icelandic horses, highlighting behaviors such as head shaking and mouth opening that indicate welfare issues.

An additional focus will be on the correct use of tack and equipment, emphasizing the importance of fit and the rider's role in horse movement. This will be illustrated through practical, research-based demonstrations.
