Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified researcher to join our team as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Building Energy Systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the research and teaching environment of the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at Aarhus University.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct research of high international quality in building science, including publication in top international journals.
- Obtain external research funding to support research activities.
- Develop and teach research-based courses at the Bachelor, Master, and PhD levels.
- Contribute to the development of the department through individual and collaborative research of high international quality.
- Work closely with Danish and international colleagues to advance the field of building science.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Building Science or a related field.
- Strong research background in building science, including experience with modeling, design, and analysis of building energy systems.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
