About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based software solutions that support our research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based software solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, bioinformaticians, and other engineers, to deliver scalable and robust platforms and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements to our platforms and processes.
Requirements
  • A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Cloud, Software, and/or Data Engineer with a strong portfolio of cloud-based solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Proficiency in enterprise-level software engineering, preferably with Python. Knowledge of.NET would be a plus.
  • Understanding of data science within computational biology, computational drug design, or genetics is an advantage.
