Biotechnology Lawyer

We are seeking a skilled Biotechnology Lawyer to join our legal team based in Hillerød, Denmark. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert legal guidance on a wide range of matters, including contract negotiation, and work closely with international colleagues in the global team.

• Lead legal review, drafting, and negotiation of various commercial agreements, such as construction agreements, master service agreements, and consultancy agreements, supporting the Legal Director on strategic collaborations.
• Liaise with capital project teams to understand objectives and draft and negotiate capital procurement contracts.
• Identify and advise on commercial and quality issues related to agreements.
• Manage contractual disputes and seek expert assistance as necessary.
• Collaborate with the patent agent on intellectual property matters.
• Act independently and escalate issues to the Legal Director, Compliance Officer, or site management when needed.

• Hold a Danish law degree (master) and relevant legal practice experience, including the ability to identify potential issues in other jurisdictions and provide clear guidance on legislation.
• Possess 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Have specialist knowledge, such as experience in manufacture of biologics, construction projects, and supply and procurement contracts.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach with self-awareness to recognize when support is required.
• Show strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and influencing skills across complex matrix organizations and client organizations.
• Have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Be fluent in English, as the role and documents will predominantly be in English.
• Have good listening and interpreting skills.
• Be willing to travel for meetings.
