Nordea is seeking an experienced Head of Communications and Brand Management to join our Group Brand, Communication and Marketing (GBCM) unit. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and strengthening Nordea's brand and reputation in Denmark.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of 7 communication specialists covering media, SoMe, employee engagement, and content production for our Nordea channels. You will also drive and execute the Danish reputation strategy with a 360 approach, tying SoMe, media, internal communications, content production close together with our brand marketing activities.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Nordea's brand and reputation. You will work closely with our marketing, branding, and communication teams to achieve our goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 7 communication specialists covering media, SoMe, employee engagement, and content production for our Nordea channels.
  • Drive and execute the Danish reputation strategy with a 360 approach, tying SoMe, media, internal communications, content production close together with our brand marketing activities.
  • Work closely with our marketing, branding, and communication teams to achieve our goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists, editors, and other influencers.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to Danish business area heads, experts, and spokespersons.
  • Manage reputational risks and lead high-intensity situations through strong stakeholder management and execution.

You Will Be a Great Fit If:

  • You have extensive experience in corporate communications and media relations, with a journalistic background considered a merit.
  • Broad experience in reputational risk management.
  • Senior leadership skills and demonstrated resilience in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong industry and business understanding, as well as exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement communication strategies in a Nordic corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.
