Commercial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Specialist to join our EMEA DTS Marketing team at Zimmer Biomet. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial operations and execution processes to ensure goals and objectives are achieved efficiently.
What You Can ExpectIn this role, you will establish policies and procedures to synchronize teams, resources, and commercial results across EMEA. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conceptualizing, designing, and implementing commercial processes and workflows to enhance productivity and operational efficiency within the organization.
- Developing and standardizing processes and tools for DTS deal contracting and performance tracking.
- Leading quarterly performance reviews focusing on underperformance and working together with the business on mitigation strategies.
- Implementing and managing centralized demand planning within a new EMEA category demand planning concept.
- Developing and driving initiatives to improve and simplify deal policies and other processes throughout the sales cycle.
- Creating and delivering training materials on the commercial process, including marketing and educational toolkits.
- Ensuring accurate invoicing of customers according to their service level agreements in coordination with the Sales and Technical Service teams.
- Collaborating with the legal and data privacy team to optimize and enhance contracting processes.
- Integrating new contractual frameworks into the existing billing process in collaboration with the IT department.
- Serving as the central function for all management reports for DTS.
- Collaborating with the business and Commercial Analytics team to enhance existing reports and create new ones as needed.
- Managing the contract lifecycle and proactively informing the DTS sales team of upcoming expiring agreements and cross-selling opportunities.
- Supporting the roll-out of Salesforce.com for DTS in EMEA, taking the lead in defining requirements and working closely with the Salesforce team on implementation.
- Creating SFDC dashboards and reports to understand business performance.
- Supporting the introduction of a novel commercial deal management application. Providing sales training and further improving the tool according to sales feedback.
- Developing new tools and processes to support the digitalization and automation of the commercial offering process.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at a senior level.
- An entrepreneur mind-set and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly switch between priorities/tasks.
- PASSION FOR NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN HEALTHCARE, such as robotics and digital health technologies alongside experience Capital Equipment
- Experience in lean six sigma or other improvement methods is a plus.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
You will bring significant experience in Commercial Excellence, Marketing, Sales, and/or Operations, along with a strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. A BSc or MSc holder in the field of project management, business administration, information systems, finance/accounting, or related fields would be an asset.
