About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Developer to join our team at Visma Consulting A/S. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems using Python and Django.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems using Python and Django
  • Integrate with external AI systems to increase the intelligence of our application
  • Scale the application with system-wide architectural decisions, such as queue-based distribution of heavy computations
  • Build infrastructure that aids the application and the developers who work on it, such as logging across the system
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with Python development
  • 2+ years of experience with Django
  • Experience with PostgreSQL (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
