NCC Construction AS seeks a skilled Procurement Specialist to lead the development and implementation of strategies for staffing and subcontracting. As a key member of the purchasing team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to capacity planning and procurement.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business administration, or economics, and at least 5 years of experience in producing companies or related businesses involving procurement and supplier management. You will enjoy leading cross-functional teams and possess excellent negotiation skills, being goal-oriented, analytical, and structured.

This role requires fluency in English and one of the Nordic languages, as well as a deep understanding of contract management. To be successful in this position, you must have a positive mindset and identify with NCC's values of honesty, trust, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement category strategies for staffing and subcontracting areas that align with NCC's business needs and sustainability goals.
  • Secure sourcing together with internal stakeholders in Business Areas and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best terms for cost, quality, and sustainability.
  • Work closely with production, Business Units, finance, and sustainability teams to ensure a unified approach to capacity planning and procurement.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier compliance, business ethics, and labor rights.
  • Use data insights to evaluate business value, risk, and performance, and to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
