Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded ML Software Architect to join our team at The LEGO Group.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, software development, and embedded systems.

This role is a key member of the Play AI team, responsible for implementing efficient algorithms for real-time processing of sensor data.

  • This includes developing and implementing Machine Learning algorithms for embedded systems, including microcontrollers and System-on-Chips.
  • Design and implement optimized software for low-power embedded systems.
  • Engineer products that follow highest coding standards, documentation, and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest new Machine Learning and embedded systems technologies and tools.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the focus of ML to enrich Play experiences and work on areas that ML can help to foster curiosity and grow confidence in children.

Requirements
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Extensive experience on embedded products with a focus on Machine Learning applications.
  • Hands-on experience building Machine Learning models in production environments.
  • Experience with microcontroller architectures and programming.
  • Solid experience with software design, implementation, debugging, and profiling.
  • Experience using common software development tools.
  • M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on location and experience.
