About the RoleAs the Global Ramp-up Director for Aseptic Manufacturing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a global ramp-up strategy that ensures the effective and efficient launch of new manufacturing lines. You will work closely with our global sites to develop and implement a standardized ramp-up approach that is aligned with our operational excellence principles.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global ramp-up strategy that ensures the effective and efficient launch of new manufacturing lines.
- Work closely with our global sites to develop and implement a standardized ramp-up approach that is aligned with our operational excellence principles.
- Manage a team of OPEX experts, including people and performance management, talent and career development.
- Ensure benefit realization and sustainability of ramp-up efforts.
- Build capabilities of site management, frontline, and local change teams on sites to sustain and continue the ramp-up.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including supply chain, local site management, and operational employees, as well as local experts.
- MSc Degree in economics, business administration, engineering, science, medical fields, or similar.
- At least 10 years of work experience within manufacturing and operational excellence, preferably in a management role.
- Experience in managing diverse teams and departments.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and qualitative problem-solving skills combined with a track record of driving strategic processes.
- Experience from a management consultancy or a pharmaceutical company is highly regarded.
- Professional proficiency in English.
The department is a newly established organizational unit called Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering (AME). With almost 150 colleagues, we play a key role in accelerating a major transformation to improve performance across a global network of factories to meet the need of the increasing number of people living with diabetes and obesity. AME is an organizational unit in Aseptic Manufacturing (AM), which is the largest production area in Novo Nordisk with more than 10,000 employees.
