Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our product team focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions for coaches, players, and their supporters. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop, deploy, and monitor software applications that meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that empower users and meet business objectives.
  • Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, leveraging customer feedback loops to refine and improve products.
  • Ensure high performance, security, and scalability across all aspects of software applications.
  • Leverage and enhance Veo's design system to create intuitive user experiences.
  • Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and decisions to shape Veo's technology landscape.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a high-growth environment.
  • A collaborative spirit, working well with others to achieve shared goals.
  • A drive for building products that solve real problems and bring value to users.
  • A growth mindset, focused on continuous improvement and learning.
  • A problem-solving mindset and clear understanding of what good looks like when it comes to building and operating large-scale systems.
  • An eye for architecture, discussing trade-offs between architectural choices.
  • An appreciation for clean, maintainable code and best practices.
  • Proficiency in both backend (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Node.js) and frontend (e.g., React) technologies.
  • Experience with testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Interest in coaching others and supporting their growth as engineers.
  • Comprehensive verbal and written English communication skills.
