About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Simulation Model Expert to join our Logistics and Automation department at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for constructing complex simulation models using FlexSim software, analyzing output data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy.
Your primary focus will be on developing simulation models to assess complex systems, programming input to the models, and working closely with colleagues in Logistics & Automation globally. Additionally, you will contribute to the enhancement of our simulation methodologies and tools, keeping them aligned with industry trends and technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of simulation models to assess complex systems.
- Programming input to the simulation model (C, C++).
- Collaboration with colleagues in Logistics & Automation locally and globally.
- Process-understanding and translating process and flows into models.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with relevant education and several years of experience working with building simulation models, including coding in C++. A data-driven analytical approach to simulation is essential, as well as proficiency in English. Experience within logistics is preferred but not required.
The Logistics & Automation Department
Our global team of 15 colleagues works out of various locations in the Nordics. We have extensive experience in logistics and automation for hospitals and other sectors like food, pharma, and industry. Compensation Package
Based on industry standards and considering the location, we estimate a salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
