Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our platform team at LEGO Koncernen. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing the backend and provisioning system behind our platform.

Core Responsibilities
  • Help set direction and culture in a highly important team with no legacy systems.
  • Drive and build the technical platform, working with code, hardware, and infrastructure on a large scale.
  • Take an active part in communication with product teams and other partners to inform about plans, new features, and community of practice.
About the Role

In this position, you will be part of a platform team where you will help build a solution that enables other teams to easily run their applications on small, low-cost devices in an IIOT-like environment. You will take part in developing the backend and provisioning system behind the platform, ensure a fully managed OS on the devices, work on the infrastructure behind it all, and ensure that all teams can easily deploy their containerized workloads to large fleets of devices.

You will be part of developing a full zero-touch solution where devices can easily be installed, moved, and replaced in order to avoid the need for specialized IT knowledge on the factory floor.

Requirements
  • Skilled backend developer, proficient in TypeScript, Python, or similar.
  • Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience maintaining cloud infrastructure with infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and Docker.
  • Enjoy working with software and hardware together.
  • Work independently and can help set the direction for the product team.
  • Open for new initiatives and drive great team culture.
  • Able to communicate and document ideas with peers.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with network devices.
  • Experience with AWS Greengrass and AWS IoT Core.
  • Experience as a systems administrator.
  • Experience with OS provisioning.
