Summer Lectureship in Interior Design Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to join our team as an External Lecturer for the Summer Interior Architecture Studio. This is an excellent opportunity to share European approaches to interior design and best practices with American students.
About the CourseThe Summer Interior Architecture Studio is a 12-week course that runs from mid-June to the end of July and includes 12 in-studio class days, a full day for final presentations, and a concluding exhibition and social afternoon. Faculty members must be present for all teaching hours.
Responsibilities include planning and preparing the course and syllabus prior to the term start, teaching at DIS Copenhagen two to four times per week, assessing students' performance, and providing feedback throughout the course.
Key Qualifications- Relevant background (architect, interior architect, exhibition designer, etc.) and hands-on expertise and experience with interior and/or exhibition design projects.
- Candidate should be open to pedagogical and assessment support from DIS and capable of incorporating DIS' interactive and hands-on teaching philosophy into teaching practice.
- Experience in creating a structured, interactive, and safe learning environment is an advantage.
