About the Position

The University seeks to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist with relevant competencies within veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct research in veterinary biochemistry and related fields, with a focus on publishing and disseminating research findings.
  2. Develop and implement research-based teaching programs, including supervision of bachelor, master, and PhD students.
  3. Lead research projects and provide guidance and supervision to researchers.
  4. Share knowledge with society through various channels.
  5. Contribute to academic assessments and the acquisition of independent research funding.
Requirements
  • Documented research qualifications within veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology.
  • Experience in securing external funding for research.
  • Teaching qualifications and pedagogical competences.
  • Research-based teaching experience.
What We Offer

The successful candidate will be affiliated with the research group of Disease Stem Cell Models and Embryology, which focuses on disease modelling using state-of-the-art stem cell approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, and glaucoma in animals and humans.
