Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Københavns Universitet Full time

Establish a strong research presence in population genomics with our University. Collaborate on an exciting project focusing on the genetics of Greenlandic land mammals, including arctic fox, caribou, arctic hare, wolves, and lemmings. Analyze whole genome datasets, which will be ready to analyze from day one.

This postdoc position is ideal for individuals with a PhD in population genetics/genomics, bioinformatics or a similar quantitative field. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong interest and background in population genomics. Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Python or R, as well as working with genetic data and high-throughput sequencing, is essential.

The successful candidate will join a research group consisting of 1 PhD student and 3 postdocs. The team has a collaborative environment, sharing weekly lab meetings, offices, and various projects. Ida Moltke's research group has established partnerships with other research groups nationally and internationally.

We value candidates who can communicate scientific results effectively and have published international peer-reviewed articles. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also required.
