\The Legal Team
\The legal department at European Energy consists of 15 lawyers from diverse backgrounds, providing expert advice on corporate law, construction law, real property law, M&A, finance transactions, and commercial contracts. We work closely with our teams to ensure seamless project execution.
\The Role
\We seek an experienced German-speaking lawyer with a strong background in corporate law, who can independently handle complex legal and contractual processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in partnership deals, commercial contracts, corporate and company law, and real property and construction aspects.
\- Counsel and draft contracts related to wind- and solar projects, including partnership and joint venture agreements, as well as commercial contracts.\
- Advise on legal and contractual aspects of project development and construction phases.\
- Conduct negotiations and handle legal processes and transactions.\
- Collaborate with colleagues on specific project-related topics, including risk assessment and mitigation.\
- Develop innovative solutions to mitigate risks or solve problems.\
- Provide ongoing legal services to the business.\
Requirements
\To be successful in this role, you will need:
\- A university degree in law from a German university and be a qualified lawyer from a German law firm.\
- Excellent contract drafting skills.\
- Excellent English and German language proficiency.\
- Thorough and analytical approach to work.\
- Ability to work effectively in teams and with diverse stakeholders.\
- Pragmatic approach with good commercial understanding.\
- Independence and willingness to take responsibility.\
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.\
