About the Role

The IT Security Strategist will play a crucial role in shaping our organization's approach to cybersecurity, working closely with stakeholders to identify and mitigate potential risks.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior IT security leadership roles, including a proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide security strategies in complex, multinational organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with STARK Group's business objectives, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies to reduce risk exposure.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and regional CIOs to ensure security best practices are integrated into all IT initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion within the organization.
  • Security Framework Development: Design and implement security frameworks that support STARK Group's business objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Information Security team, overseeing recruitment, establishing clear performance expectations, and driving continuous skill development to build a team capable of delivering exceptional security outcomes.
