**Job Summary:**We are seeking an experienced Fiber Optics Technician III to join our team at Prism Maritime, LLC.This individual will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining complex fiber optic systems on naval ships and shore facilities.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.**Responsibilities:**
  • Install and test fiber optic systems on naval ships and shore facilities.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance tasks on fiber optic systems.
  • Lead BOF installation teams and ensure compliance with standard cable installation and routing criteria.
  • Operate various instruments such as VFLs, DB loss meters, OTDRs, and interferometers for cable/connector testing.
  • Work closely with other technicians to achieve project goals and objectives.
